InboxQuiet Terms

Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

These terms cover your use of InboxQuiet. We've kept them short and readable. By creating an inbox or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

InboxQuiet provides private, encrypted email. We work hard to keep it fast, reliable, and quiet, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. Choose a strong password, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

Use InboxQuiet for lawful, ordinary correspondence. Don't use it to send spam, malware, or unlawful content, to harass others, or to attack or overload the service or its infrastructure. Abuse undermines the quiet for everyone, and may lead to suspension.

Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect as little as possible, we don't read your mail, and we never sell your data.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, or occasionally pause the service for maintenance. We may also revise these terms from time to time; if we make a material change, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know. Continuing to use InboxQuiet after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, InboxQuiet isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Closing your account

You can stop using InboxQuiet and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
