Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

InboxQuiet exists because we believe email should keep to itself. This policy explains, in plain language, the little we collect, the lot we don't, and how we keep your mail yours.

What we collect

We aim to know as little about you as possible. To run your inbox we keep:

What we don't collect

Encryption

Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Where end-to-end encryption applies, content is sealed so that only you and your correspondents can read it — we hold no keys that would let us read it.

Sharing

We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers. We use a small number of infrastructure providers (for hosting and mail delivery) strictly to operate the service, under agreements that limit them to that purpose. We disclose data only where legally required, and we push back on overbroad requests.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Delete something and it's removed from active systems promptly; residual copies age out of backups on a routine cycle.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data, and you can close your account at any time. To make a request, email hello@inboxquiet.com.
